DAY 1
Berlin has many amazing Christmas markets, and we will visit as much as we can during our stay, some of the famous big ones, but also the cute ones, that are a bit less popular, but we find them to be more intimate and authentic! Prepare for a day of Christmas cheer! We will have fun exploring this amazing city, stopping at the Christmas Markets, having Mulled wine and street food! Make sure to wear comfy shoes and warm clothes! We’ll have a lot of fun today! The return to our hotel is planned for the later afternoon hours. Your evening is free, venture out, enjoy, have fun at your own pace, or relax at the hotel.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2024
DAY 4
Today we’ll have fun exploring the amazing town of Dresden! We will enjoy viewing the Zwinger Palace and the Frauenkirche Church, and visit the Green Vault, to admire the jewels and treasures of the Saxon Kings. We will end our tour at Dresden Striezelmarkt, the amazing market that was established for the first time in 1434, and it’s considered to be Germany’s oldest Christmas market! Not only it’s the oldest, but they also kept the traditional setting, with sellers offering handmade wooden toys, a fun train that kids adore, and boughs of fragrant pine are a decoration found on every single stall. We’ll enjoy discovering this area together, having drinks, and we must try out the buttery fruitcake! And take a picture with the 45-foot-tall Christmas pyramid. From there, we’ll return to our hotel, and the rest of the day is free, for you to relax, enjoy, or have some more fun out and about Dresden!

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2024

DAY 5
Today we continue our journey through Germany and its amazing towns full of Chrismas magic! After breakfast we head to Meissen, he birthplace of Saxony, known worldwide for its Meissen porcelain. Here we will visit the fantastic Meissen Porcelain Museum, and then head out to discover the town and have some Christmas fun in one of Germany’s most beautiful Christmas markets in its medieval town square. They even have a huge advent calendar that we must check out! In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Nuremberg, one of the most popular German tourist destinations, rightfully so! It is stunning!
If you have the energy, you may head out to check out the Christmas Markets on your own, or settle in and relax.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2024
To Meissen And Nuremberg
DAY 6
Today we have full day to discover Nuremberg, Bavaria’s energetic city. Our first visit will be to the Parade Grounds, right outside the city, and then we’ll head to visit the historic Palace of Justice, and then head to have fun at the Christmas Markets. One of the most attractive is Christkindlesmarkt. It’s beautiful and interesting! Here, you’ll find handmade Christmas Decorations, traditional sweet treats and of course, the famous Nuremberg sausage and traditional mulled wine. The rest of the day is free for you to have fun, drink mulled wine, enjoy the atmosphere, or do some shopping.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2024

DAY 7
After breakfast we will continue our journey to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s magic Christmas town. Each holiday season, the well-preserved medieval town is packed full of cozy half-timbered homes, twinkly lights, and a splendid church dominating the skyline. It has all ingredients for a dreamy winter wonderland. We’ll explore the town with a local guide, and enjoy the Christmas magic at the Reiterlesmarkt. Later, we will enjoy a scenic drive along the Romantic Road all the way to Munich, the capital of Bavaria. We will settle into our hotel, and the rest of the day is free. If you wish, join your host and head out to Marienplatz square, to get the first glimpse of Munich Christmas spirit.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2024
To Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber And Munich
DAY 8
It’s time for more magical places today! After breakfast we will head to the heart of Bavaria, to visit King Ludwig’s Neuschwanstein Castle. The legendary King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the ‘Fairy tale king’, built a fantastical castle with all the modern conveniences in the 1800s. So romantic and fanciful of design, the Neuschwanstein inspired Walt Disney’s blueprint of a castle fit for Sleeping Beauty herself. Prepare to feel like a princess or prince! We will explore the Castle and enjoy lunch full of local specialties. Then, we’ll head back to Munich and enjoy a guided tour of the main Christmas Markets, at the Marienplatz, where we’ll meet one of the local vendors and enjoy mulled wine with some typical local festive snacks. Then, it will be time to have fun at the Christmas Markets together. Let’s have some fun in Munich!

Munich To Neuschwanstein

Today is your day to do your own thing. Whether you want to relax, head out to town and explore more, or spend more time at the Christmas markets, shopping and enjoying the Christmas cheer, enjoy your day at your own pace. Tonight, we’ll gather one last time to enjoy our final night in Germany at the local Hofbraeuhaus, where we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner with traditional Bavarian food and drinks.

In the morning hours (not too early!) we will bid farewell to Berlin, and head toward our next base, the amazing Dresden. But we can’t continue without an amazing stop to visit the beautiful Charlottenburg Palace. During the Advent season, this place turns into a fairytale! We will enjoy the relaxed Christmas market setting, with stalls selling arts and crafts and traditional festive treats. We will have the time to explore and enjoy the area, before continuing our journey to the splendid baroque city of Dresden. Check into our hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Optionally, join your host for a leisurely walk and drinks close to the hotel.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2024

Arrive at Berlin Airport, meet your driver, and transfer to your hotel in the center of Berlin. Enjoy some time at leisure or head out and have fun discovering the Christmas markets on own and enjoy the festively adorned German capital. In the evening, meet your host and fellow travelers at the lobby, then, head out for a welcome dinner in a local restaurant. This amazing Christmas Markets tour starts with us diving into all the authentic German flavors! Later, we can take a walk, or just relax for the first night.
